She lives in New York City. Chando attended Manhattan College before becoming an actor. Chando was the role of Maddie Coleman in the TV soap drama As The World Changes between 2005 and 2007 and for a few months starting late 2009 her character was reprised. Alexandra began her acting career in 2002 through the TV series House Blend in the role of Jenna Harper. She was Maddie Coleman in the CBS soap As the World Turns for three seasons. Chando starred in American documentaries True life and Sherri in 2009; she was also a part of the Maddie Coleman character in As the World Turns. In addition, she appeared in two episodes of American comedy-drama television series Glory Daze as Annabelle. The other TV credits she has are Castle, Hindsight Dead People and Outcast.
