She was born in Santa Monica, California on the 26th of November 1986. She is the daughter of her dad Vincenzo and her mom Valerie Barba. Her family and she moved from Point Pleasant in New Jersey at the age of 6. Her education was completed at Red Bank Catholic High School, New Jersey. Her education continued through Catholic University where she earned the degree of bachelor of architecture. Since the age of four, she has been a violinist"Violingirl" was her name. Due to her musical performance, she was referred to as the Violin Girl. She also taught children from within the community playing the violin. At the age of nineteen she auditioned for the sixth season of American Idol and sang the 1976 hit single Free. Her audition was canceled when she reached the 16th spot in American Idol. The singer has performed a variety of songs such as 'The Christmas Song 2009' as well as 'Out for Blood 2010'. She also appeared on a few shows, including Jimmy Kimmel Live!
